TEXT: ROMANS 8:11 NKJV
[11] But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Today’s devotional focuses on the power of the Holy Spirit to quicken our mortal bodies. Human beings are limited. There are many things we would love to do, but the body is weak. Weaknesses come in different forms: mental weakness, physical health challenges, and emotional weakness.
Today’s bible text assures us that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead can also quicken our mortal bodies and deliver us from every form of weakness and diseases. If the Spirit can raise the dead, how much more can He quicken our mortal bodies by bringing healing to the body, restoration to the mind, and deliverance from every kind of sickness or disease?
Are you weary or heavy laden? Is your body experiencing fatigue, or is your mind under attack from the enemy? Today, I bring you a solution from God’s Word, a solution that is sure and cannot be broken. The Spirit of the Lord is the answer. Yield yourself to the power of the Holy Spirit and allow Him to take you into the realm where His life and power are at work. The Spirit must dwell within us for us to benefit from the life of Christ. We must allow the Spirit of God to have His rightful place in our lives by cleansing our hearts from every form of wickedness and sin, getting rid of unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, and every other work of the flesh.
As believers, it is important to always pray in the Spirit. By doing so, we allow the Holy Spirit to have free course in our lives, empowering and strengthening us daily.
The mindset we should have is that darkness and light cannot coexist. When light appears, darkness disappears. As the Spirit of God comes into our mortal bodies, every form of darkness in our lives disappears in Jesus’ name. If the Spirit can raise the dead, He can certainly heal the living. I shall hear your testimony in Jesus’ name.

The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me. I command every diagnosed or undiagnosed sickness to leave my body today, in Jesus’ name. My mortal body is quickened by the power of the Holy Spirit. I walk in divine health, strength, and victory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
