Happy Easter to you. Jesus is risen. Glory be to God. In the next few days, we shall be discussing the purpose of the anointing.
The anointing is the supernatural power of God upon a person that enables them to do supernatural things naturally.
Many Christians desire the anointing, but they forget that it is not for showing off, but for work. The Lord Jesus found where it was written in Scripture concerning Him and the purpose of the anointing upon Him. The first purpose of the anointing of God is to preach the gospel.
Many Christians do not preach the gospel. God anoints us to preach the gospel. He did not ask us to preach anything other than the gospel.
What is the gospel? The gospel is the true message of Jesus Christ. Its the good news about the love of God for mankind. An anointed church is a church that preaches the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
Apostle Paul said, “Woe unto me if I do not preach the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:16). As we call upon God to anoint us, we need to remember that the anointing is for preaching.
Declarations:
I shall not be quiet. I shall preach the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
