Depression is ravaging our world today. Yesterday we talked about feeling low. When feeling low tarries long, it can lead to depression. Depression is from the devil. It does not come from God. Satan oppresses men in stages. He starts from feeling low, moves to depression and finally it moves to poccession. This strategy of the devil is to keep the Christians in bondage.Please avoid depression by all means. David had to speak to himself to get him out of the low state in todays scripture.
Practical steps to take:
1. Don’t stop praying; prayer works.
2. Trust God that He is always there and He’s there with you.
3. Avoid words that is meant to bring you down.
4. Don’t stay quiet; speak out in positivity – declare poisitively. Declare Gods word
5. Find a good friend to join you in prayers.
6. Intentionally create joy around you.
7. Keep reading and studying the word of God.
