Discussions:
Today, we shall be focusing on what to do after you realize that you have made a mistake.
Esau made a great mistake by selling his birthright to Jacob. He lost the blessing of the firstborn. However, as painful as it was, Esau still managed to figure out something to do with his life. He realized that his father did not like the daughters of Canaan as wives, so he went to Ishmael to take a wife and that step connects him to Abrahamic blessings. In this way, he was able to make something good out of his life after losing the blessing from Isaac his father.
Brethren, there are times when we make mistakes, waste time, make wrong business decisions, choose wrong locations, and so on, but there is still a way out. Have you lost an opportunity that seemed like a once-in-a-lifetime chance? Our God is a God of another chance.
What should I do if I have lost time or valuable things?
1. Go to God in prayer and plead for mercy.
2. Do not take further steps without hearing from God.
3. Be sensitive to everything around you.
4. Pray in the Spirit continually.
5. Take the steps given to you by the Holy Spirit.
Prayer Points:
1. Lord Jesus, have mercy on me today and deliver me from every pit I entered into by mistake.
2. Lord, please guide all my steps in life.
3. Lord, please help me to be sensitive to Your leading, in Jesus’ name.
4. Pray in the Spirit for a minimum of five minutes.
