TEXT: 1 KINGS 5:4 KJV
[4] But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.
Discussions:
Today’s devotional focuses on rest on every side. Tension/trouble is not a good thing. As you enter into this new month of grace, every war in your life shall seize and you shall have rest on all side in Jesus’ name.
King David, a man after God’s heart could not do too much regarding building a house for God because of the wars which were round about him on every side (vs 3). Too many battles can be a distraction in life. When battles are too many, a warrior could become weak. This is a major strategy of the devil to keep people busy fighting until they go weak and feeble and their time is gone.
Solomon could build a house for God because God gave him rest on all sides. There were no adversaries.
Beloved, today we shall ask God to give us rest on every side. Rest financially, rest mentally, rest maritally and all areas in Jesus name
Prayer Points:
1. In the name of Jesus, I have rest on every side
2. In the name of Jesus, I refuse to be distracted
3. In the name of Jesus, end as come to battles in my life.
