For he satisfieth the longing soul, And filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

God is not cheap to find. God does not just reveal himself to anyone who has not shown interest in knowing Him. When we draw near to God, He draws near unto us(James 4:8) . Many believers have not encountered God the way we should because we are not desperate about knowing God. God is so deep that the more you know about Him, the more you realise you have not known Him. The bible text today shows to us that God satisfies the longing soul. God does not satisfy uninterested souls but longing souls. God can create the hunger in you if you ask Him to help you. It is also important to note that hunger for God could be lost. Satan uses distractions and issues of life to attack our hunger for the Lord. Ask God to create a hunger for Him in your heart today.
