TEXT: OBADIAH 1:3
The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

God looks into the heart of men. Humility is not really about the posture we take but the disposition of our hearts. Pride has a way of deceiving victims. It’s very subtle. Anytime God is taken out of any situation, it’s a feeling of self-sufficiency. It’s important we watch our motives regularly to be sure pride has not sneaked into our hearts. Brethren, let’s humble ourselves before the Lord and watch how He will lift us up.
