REWARD IS ON THE WAY

TEXT: II CHRONICLES 15:7 KJV

[7] Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.

 Discussions:

Today’s devotional is to encourage someone who has been waiting on the Lord for a miracle. The Lord has sent this word to you today: your reward is on the way and shall be delivered to you safely.

Today’s text was a word to a king named Asa. The Lord said to him, “Be strong and do not let your hands be weak.” When a hand is weak, things fall from it because it lacks strength. A weak hand cannot hold onto or receive anything. This means that if the hand is weak, receiving the reward that is on the way may be impossible.

Many of us have prayed and trusted God for a miracle or divine intervention, yet it seems there is a delay somewhere. I announce to you today that your reward is on the way. The text says, “For your work shall be rewarded.” This means that something is due to you; therefore, the reward is your rightful portion.
“The labourer is worthy of his reward.” (1 Timothy 5:18)

Every sacrifice such as prayer, giving, fasting, helping fellow believers, and service in God’s vineyard, e.t.c does not go in vain. God does not owe anyone. He rewards faithfully. We must note that if there is no sacrifice or labour, it is not appropriate to expect a reward. The Bible says “reward” and not “grant.” This implies that something has been worked for or laboured for.

Therefore, do not let your hands be weak. Keep sacrificing, keep praying, keep trusting, keep giving, and keep serving. Do not give up, because your reward is already on the way, and it will be exceedingly great in Jesus’ name.

I shall hear your testimony in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Declaration:

I shall not give up in well doing because my reward is on the way and I shall not miss it in Jesus name.
