TEXT: PSALM 105:2 NKJV
[2] Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!
Discussion
Today’s devotional focuses on how we proclaim God’s wondrous works. God wants His children to speak about Him to the world. This is slightly different from sharing personal testimonies about what God has done for you. Talking about God’s wondrous works simply means not being silent about the wondrous works of God around us. We shall talk a little bit today about some of God’s wondrous works.
1) The Earth: The recent mission of the astronauts to the moon reveals how amazing the earth is. The whole earth, from its length to its breadth, is suspended on nothing. The earth is held by nothing. Everything on earth, no matter how heavy it is, is suspended and held in emptiness. That is why we should shout, “Hallelujah!” to God.
2) The Ocean: God created the seas, and yet, from the time they were created until today, they have not overflowed the earth. The earth contains an amount of water whose volume no man can fully measure. The ocean is home to many other creatures, from the big whales to the tiniest creatures in the sea. I believe there are still many creatures in the ocean that have not yet been discovered. Whenever you see the sea, remember that it was made by God. That should make you shout, “Hallelujah!” and praise Him.
3) Human Beings: The creation of human beings by God is another masterpiece of His wondrous work. Every human being has a unique fingerprint, and no two people have exactly the same fingerprint. God made human beings, and they have gone on to create many other things in the world, including the AI we use today. Whenever you remember that God made human beings, shout, “Hallelujah!” and praise Him.
Brethren, God wants us to talk about His wondrous works. King David said, “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained.”
It is a good thing to always see God’s hand all around us because it builds our faith and helps us trust Him for all things. I encourage you to look at His creation today and shout, “Hallelujah!”
Declarations:
I shall not be quiet about the wondrous works of my God. I shall speak about them and God’s name shall be glorified in my life in Jesus’ name.
