TEXT: 2 KINGS 7:1–2 NKJV
[1] Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’ ” [2] So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

Welcome to the month of July. Our month of testimonies in Jesus’ name. Today’s devotional is to encourage everyone using this devotional to know that your miracle has finally arrived. The waiting time is over. The impossible shall become possible. Your situation is changing within the next 24 hours. Glory be to God!
Our text today tells the story of a nation called Samaria, where there was a great famine after they were besieged by the king of Syria. The famine became so severe that human life was no longer valued. But the word of the Lord came to them, declaring that there would be a great turnaround within 24 hours.
It was an unbelievable prophecy. One of the king’s officers responded, “Even if the Lord should make windows in heaven, could this really happen?” Because of his unbelief, he was punished for that statement.
When God says that He will turn your current circumstances around within 24 hours, all you need to do is believe. If you are struggling with doubt, ask God to help your unbelief.
God turned the situation of the nation around within 24 hours in a dramatic way. He magnified the sound of the movement of four lepers, causing the very enemies who had besieged Samaria to flee, leaving behind all their spoils. God then used the lepers to restore the entire nation.
God is sovereign over all. He controls everything. If the movement of four lepers could sound like the march of a mighty army, then God can change anything, anyhow, anytime, and anywhere.
Joseph went to sleep one night as a prisoner and woke up to become the prime minister of Egypt the next day. If anyone had told Joseph the previous day that he would become the prime minister of Egypt overnight, he would probably not have believed it.
Within the next 24 hours, you shall have a testimony. Everything you have lost shall be recovered, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
