TEXT: MARK 11:23
[23] For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Discussions:
The scripture today tells us what to do to the mountains on our way. Mountains here means obstacles that come our way in life. This is a message by Jesus Christ to us.
We all face mountains in different areas of our lives but we are not asked to manage the mountain, but speak to the mountain to be removed and cast into the sea.
According to the scripture above, we only need to do two things: speak and believe. Some Christians speak but don’t believe. Some believe but don’t speak. We are admonished to do both.
Sicknesses are mountains, financial difficulties are mountains, barrenness is a mountain, stagnation is a mountain.e.t.c Jesus said speak to the mountain and believe that it is done. We are to remove the mountain and relocate it to the sea. This means we can say to growth in the body to come out and go to hell and it shall obey our command.
What happens if we speak and the mountain is still there?
We keep speaking until you see it removed. It’s a no retreat and no surrender business. Though we need to note that answers could come through various means, so we must be sensitive to ways God has answered so we don’t keep speaking to the mountain that has already been moved.
I shall hear your testimony in Jesus name
Declaration:
I speak to every mountain in my life to move and be cast into the sea in Jesus name.
