TEXT: ROMANS 4:20
[20] He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,
Discussions:
The scripture above was used to describe Abraham. Abraham was called the father of many nations by God, yet he did not even have a child. God is the God of the past, present, and future. He made the past, He directs the present, and He controls the future. Abraham’s belief in God’s promises was counted to him as righteousness.
Has God promised you anything through dreams, His Word, or direct prophecy? Today’s devotional is meant to encourage you not to doubt God.
Abraham proved that he believed God when God asked him to sacrifice Isaac. The step he took showed that even if he sacrificed Isaac, God would still fulfil His promise, even at his old age.
We live in a generation where things happen very quickly. There seems to be no time to waste anymore, but God is the owner of time. He can rewind time, pause time, or fast-forward time.
Who says the time is gone? Who says the opportunity is gone? If God has promised you anything, even if it does not look possible, believe and trust Him to the very end. God is not a man that he should lie. Number 23:12
Practical Steps
1. Write the promise down — Habakkuk 2:2
2. Place it where you can see it often — Habakkuk 2:2
3. Look at it daily and speak the Word of God concerning it
4. Glorify God for the promise and thank Him for its manifestation.
5. Expect the manifestation by preparing for it, because it shall surely come to pass.
6. Cover your mind with the blood of Jesus because that is where satan wants to put doubt.
I shall surely hear your testimonies in Jesus name
Declaration:
I shall not stagger at Gods promise. I know He shall surely bring them all to pass. The mercy of God is speaking for me so I have wasted no time in life.
