“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:”

Today’s topic is to open our eyes to the things/situation that are before us as Christians. Life is warfare, so being a Christian does not exempt anyone from the warfare. Apostle Paul clearly stated in the scripture, “Though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.”This simply means that our flesh can’t deal with what we are up against.
We are in a spiritual war, ladies and gentlemen. The enemy is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. So we must live ready at any time. We must live like a spiritual soldier ready to deploy weapons from our arsenal at any given time.
The enemy is always looking for ways to attack a believer. There are things that are basic routines that a believer must do in order to live ready.
Practical steps
1. Be Joyful
2. Be prayerful
3. Be full of the word of God
4. Be watchful
5. Be faithful
6. Be sensitive/obedient
In the next few days we shall be looking at each steps more elaborately. It is important to note the we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. Romans 8:37.
