TEXT: ROMANS 8:1
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”
Discussions:
The scripture for today shows that there is no condemnation to us irrespective of our past actions/sins after coming to Christ Jesus. The scripture mentioned that the only people who have no condemnation are those in Christ Jesus and have refused to walk after the flesh but after the Spirit. This verse clearly shows the requirements of those who have met Christ Jesus and are free from condemnation. This means we can’t claim to be in Christ and still walk after the flesh. Anyone who is in Christ Jesus but still walks after the flesh shall be condemned. Brethren, we must not forget that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made us free from the law of sin and death, but the requirement has not changed. Walk not after the flesh but walk in the Spirit. The law of the flesh was stated clearly in Galatians 5:19-21. May the Lord help us to walk after the Spirit in Jesus’ name.
Declarations:
I refuse to walk after the flesh in Jesus’ name. The Lord shall help me to walk after the spirit. My strength can’t help me, but God’s strength shall.
