TEXT: ISAIAH 1:19
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
Discussions:
To eat the good of the land, there are two things the scripture above requires we do. We must be willing and obedient. Eating the good of the land means to prosper in the land. Isaac sowed in the land, and he received in the same year a hundred fold (Gen 26:12). This means prosperity does not come only by wishes. It takes more than a wish. It took more than wish for Isaac to sow during famine; it must have taken a serious will to sow during famine. We must be ready to go all out to make things work.
Willingness drives a person into intense prayers and to seek knowledge. After prayer and acquiring knowledge, obedience follows. Some people are only willing but not taking the right actions in obedience to divine instruction. Prosperity in the land needs willingness and then taking the necessary actions by obeying God’s instructions.
Declarations:
I shall be willing and obedient in Jesus’ name
