TEXT: JONAH 1:17
Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
Discussions:
Jonah disobeyed God, yet God made the fish ready to swallow Jonah even before he cried for mercy. God already prepared the fish to keep him safe, pending the time he would cry for mercy and amend his ways. The mercy of God is not what we deserve but God’s provision makes us receive His intervention. The love of God is more real than the wickedness of Satan. God’s mercies are more available than you can imagine.
