TEXT: AMOS 6:1
Woe to them that are at ease in Zion, and trust in the mountain of Samaria, which are named chief of the nations, to whom the house of Israel came!

Zion is defined as a place where God dwells( Psm 9:11, Psm 76:2, Ish 8:18). No ease in zion means no ease in God’s dwelling place. This means there are some activities that are constant in the place where God dwells that are not meant to be easy. Prayer is not a gift of the spirit. You have to labour in prayers. Worship is not what we feel like doing all the time, especially when things around us do not add up, but because there is no ease in zion, you keep praying and worshipping. In good and bad times, we just have to continue releasing the incense to zion, then you allow the God of zion to prove Himself. I shall hear your testimonies in Jesus’ name.
