TEXT: II CORINTHIANS 3:18
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Discussions:
There is something special about the glory of the Lord. The glory of God reveals the magnificence of God and reveals the humanness of man. God’s glory makes us see how great God is and how small we are. Isaiah saw the glory and realised how unclean he was (Isaiah 6:5). The reason why any human can be proud is because he/she has not seen the glory of God. The glory of God humbles a man. Peter, James, and John saw a tiny snippet of His glory at the mountain of transfiguration (Matt 17:1–4) and they wanted to build tabernacles there. Brethren, let us seek after beholding the glory of the Lord. Materialism, self will, pride, ego, and other things of the flesh die when the glory of God comes. The glory that changes man to an acceptable image of Yahweh. Ask God today to let you see HIS glory.
Prayer point:
Let me see your glory. Oh, Lord my God.
