Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia

The Holy Spirit forbade Paul and Silas from preaching. To preach the gospel is a good idea, but it became a bad idea when the Holy Spirit said they should not preach in Asia. Irrespective of how good an idea is, we must always listen to that still small voice of the Holy Spirit. The good idea could be a bad idea while the bad idea could be a good idea. Don’t ignore the Holy Spirit. He knows more than you do
