TEXT: NUMBERS 23:4, 14, and 29 KJV
[4] And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.
[14] And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
[29] And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams
Discussions:
Balak, the king of Moab, was on a mission to curse the nation of Israel, but he could not do this without the help of Balaam. Balaam built altars of seven bullocks and seven rams at each attempt because they wanted to curse a nation. A total of twenty-one bullocks and twenty-one rams were used as sacrifices altogether. They were working from every angle and realm to curse Israel.
Brethren, there is something called altars of wickedness. Some people are determined to see the downfall of others. Such people keep trying hoping that they will get their desired outcome. May their own evil fall upon their heads in Jesus name.
The story of Balaam the prophet is a topic for another day. Some prophets still hear God, but they have merchandised the office.
Today, we shall pray against every satanic and demonic altar raised against our lives and families, irrespective of who raised it. I recommend taking two minutes for each prayer point.
I shall hear your testimonies, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for destroying all demonic altars raised against me through your Word.
2. Every sacrifice placed on any evil altar against my life is rendered useless today, in Jesus’ name.
3. Every enchantment or divination cast against my life shall not work, in Jesus’ name.
4. I set on fire altars of evil raised against me and my family in Jesus’ name
5. Lord let every time allocated by seen or unseen enemy for my downfall be wasted in Jesus’ name.
