that, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Today’s devotional scripture is reminding us to glory in the Lord and not ourselves. When we share testimonies or tell our success stories, it is very important that we are intentional about taking ourselves out of the picture and allowing God to take all the glory. We must not use sharing testimonies as a medium of self aggrandisement but a way of glorifying God. Also, we need to be careful when men tell us great things about us. You may not be able to stop them, but you can stop the effect on your heart. Let’s see ourselves as nothing without God, and surely He shall glorify Himself through our lives.
