TEXT: ACTS 25:1-4
[1] Now when Festus was come into the province, after three days he ascended from Cæsarea to Jerusalem. [2] Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and besought him, [3] and desired favour against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him. [4] But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Cæsarea, and that he himself would depart shortly thither.
Discussions:
In the reading above, Paul was in custody, but the high priests were not satisfied. They wanted him dead by all means. They planned to obtain a favour from Porcius Festus to send Paul to Jerusalem so that they could lay ambush and kill him on his way, but Festus refused to send Paul to Jerusalem. Brethren, there are agents of darkness who have decided not to rest until they see our end. They set traps to catch men( Jere 5:26). I announce today that any demonic ambush set for you and your loved ones this year shall be exposed and destroyed in Jesus’ name
Prayer Points:
- Father, raise men that will work against the wicked plotting evil against my life.
- Father expose the wicked and their wickedness, let their vail be removed in Jesus’ name..
