TEXT: ACTS 18:9-10
[9]Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:
[10] for I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.
Discussions:
The Lord spoke to Paul not to be afraid. This means Paul was afraid and needed God to reassure him at that time. God knows our fears. God knows what we are afraid about, and He loves us too much to leave us deal with all our fears with our own strength. The devotional today is for someone currently afraid of the current situation or maybe afraid of the unknown. God said to Paul, “I have many people in the city.” He already prepared the ground for Paul even before he got to the city. God is saying that He already made a way for us. I shall hear your testimonies in Jesus’ name.
Declarations:
I rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name.
