Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest

The instruction given to this widow by the prophet was to sell the oil, pay off her debt, and live of the rest. She has to be prudent. Let’s assume her debt was £10,000 and the miracle produced 10 jars of oil, it will be foolishness to sell each jar less than £1000 and it will be unwise to sell at exactly £1000 because she was meant to live of the rest. Brethren, let’s move circumspectly after hearing from God
